The world’s premier clinical
professionals meet in Madrid
Final planning is underway for the DIA Clinical Forum 2007, October 15-19, in Madrid, Spain, a groundbreaking summit developed to maximise the synergies between the various areas of expertise, enhance cross-functional teamwork and allow delegates excellent multi-disciplinary networking opportunities. The Clinical Forum offers timely and relevant session topics, 150+ speakers, including representatives from EMEA, FDA, and regulatory agencies throughout Europe, continuing education credits, over 20 hours of unparalleled networking opportunities with exciting social events each evening of the Clinical Forum and access to over 50 exhibitors.
This unprecedented event will bring together professionals from all disciplines, covering topics including: Clinical Data Management, eClinical, Clinical R&D, Project Management for Clinical Trials, Pharmacovigilance, Statistics, Knowledge Management, Medical Writing, Medical Information and Communications, Information Technology and Innovative Medicines. The Opening Plenary, on Monday, October 15, will feature a must-attend keynote address by Professor Sir Gordon Duff. Previously Chairman of the UK’s Committee on Safety of Medicines (CSM) and its Biologicals subcommittee, Sir Gordon Duff was appointed inaugural Chairman of the UK’s Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) in 2005.
In 2006 he was appointed Chairman of the Secretary of State’s Expert Scientific Group on Phase I Clinical Trials and led an inquiry into safety after the Northwick Park TGN1412 clinical drug trial that left six men seriously ill. His subsequent report contained 22 recommendations to increase safety in clinical studies. The Clinical Forum’s 11 conferences, workshops and training courses will run independently but with pricing that provides optimum value to attendees. This innovative structure will provide delegates with the flexibility to attend crossover sessions and effectively “build their own conference” to their specifications.
Additionally, delegates who register for any two-day conference can attend their choice of an optional one-day event on Wednesday, October 17, free of charge. Delegates are encouraged to register now for the most comprehensive and best value clinical conference in Europe this year, with rates including VAT from just €749.00 and a €150.00 early-bird discount available until September 14.
